The outdoor watering restrictions are as follows:

Metro Atlanta | Statewide

Information verified Dec. 2, 2002

In the 15-County Metro Area (Bartow, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Paulding and Rockdale counties):

Outdoor water use is not allowed at all from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m..  Address-based odd-even water use allowed during other hours. The day starts and stops at midnight.

EXAMPLE: A homeowner at 82 Mockingbird Lane can water from midnight to 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight on June 4 and not at all on June 5.

 

The Statewide Water Restrictions (the remaining 144 counties):

Address-based odd-even water use allowed. The day starts and stops at midnight.

EXAMPLE: A business at 43 main street can use water outdoors at any time from midnight on July 17 to midnight on July 18, but not at all on the 18th.
